Human Trafficking in the 21st Century
The end of the Civil War had a deeper mean then just ending a horrible and gruesome war it also facilitate the demise of slavery with in the United States. This was known on January of 1865, when the Thirteenth Amendment was passed and implemented to abolish slavery. Not only in the United States but international as well, specifically with the Slavery Convention of the League of Nations in 1926, Then why do we still have slavery in the 21st century?

In 2011 Trafficking in Persons Report assesses reported that 184 governments world wide are fighting human trafficking! These governments are battling an endless battle of sexual exploitation, forced labor and modern day slavery. The State Department has indicated that these victims are not only pat of a third world countries but approximately 100,000 of them belong to the United States. These victims are men, women as well as children nonetheless, the individuals who are greater at risk are women and children.
